After our preliminary discovery call, in which we will have identified a specific challenge you are facing, you will receive a writing prompt tailored to your unique situation. This writing prompt will allow you to begin a personal essay or short memoir piece, on which I will provide constructive feedback. Through a series of three rewrites and one phone conversation (or email, if preferred), our aim is to arrive at a place where you have gained fresh perspective on your challenge through written work. Lastly, because I value the power in sharing our secrets and struggles publicly, we will discuss publication venues, or you will have the option of publishing on the forthcoming Name Your Shame blog. Anonymity is always an option.
